Art Festival Terms and Guidelines
Festival Date: 08/29/2026
Time: 12 pm to 8 pm
Setup: First Portion 10 am Second Portion 11 am
Artist Vendor Requirements:
1. Must be 18 years old or older. Minors must be always accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
2. Must have a sales permit, EIN or any other business documents that allow you to make sales.
3. Must be the creator or producer of items being sold. No resale is allowed. Vendors offerings must be at least 70% original/handmade and no more than 30% reproductions (unless the artist is primarily a photographer).
4. Each vendor is encouraged to promote the event to help get the word out about the festival.
5. Provide own lighting for nighttime hours.
6. Provide own power source.
Booth Information & Fees:
1. Artist Vendor Fees $30 ($15 nonrefundable application fee online + $30 if accepted)
a. Food Truck Fees are $ 85.
2. Vendor fees/registration must be paid online.
3. The Festival Coordinator will track all vendor payments.
4. Fees are non-refundable. Vendor agrees to not process a bank chargeback.
5. No call, no shows may result in suspension and/or vendor termination with no refund.
6. If you will not be attending or have sold your space to an approved vendor, please send an email to Timothylukeleather@gmail.com
7. Vendors who do not follow Festival Guidelines will not be allowed to participate in the festival.
Festival Spaces
1. Artist vendor spaces are 10’x10’ ft. each. Food truck vendors have a designated area.
2. Vendors are responsible for their own canopy, chairs, tables, and table covers.
3. All tents are required to be secured by 50 lbs. of weight or more per canopy. (no staking or drilling allowed).
4. Vendors who fail to secure their booth against winds or rain are liable for any damage caused to neighboring vendors, the general public and damage to the property.
5. Vendors must have their own means of taking payments for their sales -bring their own money to provide change to the customer, use their own Square Reader, PayPal or other such electronic Point of Sale (POS) systems.
6. Provide own lighting and power source.
7. Abara House is a historical site and as such must be treated respectfully as to not cause any damage to the site.
Arts/Craft Vendors
1. All vendors participating in the sale of art and handmade crafts are required to personally create the items they offer.
2. Art and artisanal goods should be original in concept and nature. Any locally handmade, home crafted, or home assembled arts and crafts, which have been made by the seller or members of the seller’s household, can be sold at the festival.
3. Per federal copyright infringement law, goods such as fabric, charms, or prefabricated items with copyrighted images such as but not limited to, Disney, NFL/NBA logos, DC of Marvel Comic Logos, Dr. Seuss, Looney Tunes, TMNT, etc. are strictly prohibited. These items are for individual household use only. Violators will be asked to remove and discontinue selling the items immediately and may be suspended for up to a three-month quarterly period.
4. Arts/Crafts items may include leathergoods; drawings, paintings, and prints; photographs; woodwork; metal craft; ceramics and pottery; weaving and yarn work; macramé; needlework; beadwork; sculpture; jewelry; stitchery and sewing; clothing and accessories; glasswork; natural fiber crafts and basketry.
5. Additional non-handmade, pre-packaged items, such as candies, accessories, make-up etc., may not be sold at vendor booths.
6. All items must compliment the family atmosphere.
7. Vendors who do not follow Festival guidelines will not be allowed to participate in the festival.
Mobile Food Truck Vendors
Mobile Food Trucks, carts, bikes or otherwise are invited to participate at the festival per the following guidelines:
1. Food trucks and drink vendors must have a current Mobile Food Permit and Food Handlers Certificate to sell at the festival.
2. A current Class K Fire Extinguisher is required inside your food truck.
3. Food Trucks are required to pay $85 online to sell at the festival.
4. First come, first serve to those who pay online.
5. Food truck vendors who sell pre-packaged goods only are not allowed to vend at the festival.
6. Food trucks may not sell pre-packaged goods unless they complement a meal.
Festival Operations
1. Vendors MUST be prepared for operation at the start of the festival.
2. Booths must be staffed during Festival hours.
3. Vendors may not disassemble booths before the festival is closed without permission from the Festival Coordinator or Festival Manager.
4. Vendor loading and unloading: For pedestrian safety, vendors are not permitted to drive into the festival during hours of operation and 30 minutes before the festival starts.
5. Vendors arriving late should park their vehicle outside of the festival area and carry their supplies to their booth space.
6. Pets are prohibited from coming in contact with vendor displays, especially those involving food items.
7. Exceptions will be made for vendors with disabilities requiring access per our Ordinance; be sure to notify Festival Coordinator or Festival Manager of needed accommodations.
8. It is prohibited for vendors to set up their booths while their vehicle is in the festival zone. Pull in, pull over, unload, pull out and park in designated vendor area.
9. Vendors should not set up their booth space in areas blocked off by orange cones unless directed to do so by Festival Coordinator or Festival Manager.
10. Vendors using canopies and festival umbrellas must weigh down their booth infrastructure.
11. Vendors who fail to secure their booth against winds or rain are liable for any damage caused to neighboring vendors, the general public and damage to the property.
12. Vendors who do not have adequate weights may be asked to leave the Festival.
13. Signage: Any signage must be securely attached to a vendor’s booth or stall to assure that it does not impede pedestrian traffic. A-Frames signs to not exceed 3ft from vendor booths.
14. Stall space: Vendors are responsible for keeping their space attractive during Festival hours.
15. Vendors are responsible for removal of all debris, refuse and unsold product from the Festival premises. Festival trash cans are for the festival goers and vendors. If Festival staff has to clean up a booth space, the vendor will be required to pay a fine of $50.00.
16. Smoking is not permitted in vendor booths or any area the festival is taking place.
17. Vendors will conduct themselves courteously to all visitors, customers, fellow vendors and Festival staff.
18. Vendors may not verbally call attention to their space by calling out beyond the borders of their space.
19. Violations of Festival Vendor Guidelines may result in suspension and corresponding privileges.
20. The Festival Coordinator has authority to suspend Festival operations at any time due to
21. inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances that pose major safety issues for vendors and customers. All notices of cancellation will be posted on Facebook, Instagram, Website, text messages, and via email.
22. As El Paso’s Finest Art Festival continues to grow and respond to a demand of more vendors to participate, Festival rules, vendor map layout, and procedures may be adapted to better address operational issues. Any changes will be communicated to all vendors via e-mail and left to the discretion of the festival coordinator.
23. Only items approved on the vendor application are eligible to be sold at the El Paso’s Finest Art Festival.
24. El Paso’s Finest Art Festival may arrange for photos and/or video to be taken at events and used for promotional purposes. This may include printed documents or media, editorial coverage, advertising press and use on the internet.

NAMED PROPERTY. ALL OPERATIONS ARE MANAGED AND DIRECTED BY EL PASO’S FINEST, OWNER AND
COORDINATOR, RAFAEL BATREZ. AS SUCH, EL PASO’S FINEST AND ITS’ OWNER ASSUME NO
RESPONSIBILTY FOR ANY DEATHS, BODILY INJURY OR PORPERTY DAMAGE REGARDLESS OF SEVERITY,
THAT MAY RESULT DURING THE FESTIVAL OPERATIONS OR PRIOR TO THE FESTIVAL. BY ENTERING THE
EVENT PREMISES, VENDORS, PARTICIPANTS AND CUSTOMERS ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THEY
DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK AND ASSUME FULL RESPONISBILITY FOR ANY RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO PARTICIPATION IN THIS EVENT, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE ORGINZAER OR OTHERWISE.
